DLL Hijacking is when you replace an existing DLL with a malicious one. The difference between DLL Hijacking and [[DLL Search Order Hijacking]], is that DLL Hijacking doesn't abuse the search order. The attack will replace the expected DLL with a malicious one renamed to the expected one and located within the same directory.
